These days the water level of Yamuna is increasing day by day. In such a situation, some villages of the Yamuna belt in the tehsil area get affected due to floods. To deal with any situation, under the chairmanship of SDM Suresh Kumar, flood relief choupal was organized in flood sensitive village Mau Kanar of Tehsil area. While interacting with the local people in choupal, the SDM inquired about the problems faced by them during floods. Addressing the people present there, he said that the main objective of organizing Rahat choupal is to go to all the possible flood affected villages and inform the local people about the preparations of the administration for flood prevention. The main objective of the administration is to provide relief to the residents of the flood affected area through the organization of Rahat choupal. Apart from this, they also have to provide cooperation during floods. So that there is minimum loss of public money. He also inquired about the divers, sailors and volunteers and instructed the subordinates to keep their list along with their mobile numbers. So that if necessary, necessary action can be taken by establishing contact with them immediately.
